You have also got to know me as well. As you probably remember, i used to talk about my fiance alot. Well, as of friday, november 13th (wierd day, i know), she is now my wife. That was the beginning... Alright guys, ive talked with several of you in chat over the past months, getting to know you guys. You have also got to know me as well. As you probably remember, i used to talk about my fiance alot. Well, as of friday, november 13th (wierd day, i know), she is now my wife. That was the beginning of the best week ive ever had. Alot of you also know that ive been talking about her being pregnant. Well, last night, we were laying in bed, and her water broke. We rushed to the hospital, and i do mean rushed. They immediately took her to her own room and started monitoring everything. All went well through the night, and at 7:30 this morning, she was about halfway dialated. At 8:15, she was fully dialated, and began pushing. My son, Chase, was born at 8:35am on November 18th 2009, weighing 8lbs 5oz, 20" long. Here is a picture of me and him this afternoon, as well as one earlier right after he was born. Hope you enjoy :)

Sorry I haven't been around much for the last few months. My job changed and got insane while we worked through a complete reorganization and we had a few family issues that kept things hectic. The tanks have fared ok. We lost a couple corals in the 50G reef, but it's back on track now. The 120G is pretty much the same with just some additional plants. The 75G Cichlid tank is unchanged, the 8G nano now has Dwarf puffers and bumblebee gobies. We lost the gudgeons sadly. :( We're also in the process of setting up a 55G Tangi tank and have a new 5.5 planted betta tank with pygmy hatchets and ghost shrimp. A 46 softy reef is in the plans. The 100G frag tank is on hold for the time being.... probably to go into the garage with a planned garage to fish room conversion. ;)

I stopped at a roundabout, waiting for the traffic to clear so I could go.

.......and as I'm waiting *BANG*. It was the loudest sound I have ever heard... The cylinder popped and depressurised gas sprewed into the car's cabin. I could feel the change in the air immediately.

Got myself and the cylinder out of the car and put it on the footpath. By now a queue of cars were behind me so I got the car out of the way. Cylinder stops expelling gas.

I drove home and (slightly embarrased to admit it now) burst into tears. I was so shaken up that Hubby had to drive us both back to the shop to show them the cylinder and tell them what had happened.

He said he'd never heard of that hapeening. He guessed the valve must have been faulty. the guy gave me a new cylinder and a credit for the next one.

Got home and poured myself a whiskey.
