Also in residence are 4 dwarf gourami (3 flame, 1 powder blue), random assortment of cories (panda, false julii, and peppered), otos, and a wealth of snails. Thanks to another forum member who shall remain anonymous, (massive nod towards kaiofcanada) I was also able to add a better variety of plants, so now everyone can have their own little territory. Everything is kind of a mess right now but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and the fish seem comfortable.

all the smaller plants at the back ground are a months growth on the 2 original plants. Took about 2-3 months to grow the moss from a patch about 25% of the surent size.

I streched hose over the PVC pipeing to make it look abit better and so i can just hook it on the back of the tank.

Overflow Box

Didnt have any holes drilled, And didnt really want to drain the tank to get them done. So i brought a Reef Octopus Over Flow box, And it works like a charm.

Towel is there because i had a little leak, Which im waiting on some Aquarium Celicant.

SUMP, It has 4 chambers, #1, Pump inlet chamber, #2, LR and LS with a nitrate sponge and skimmer, #3 Heater and can possible add more. #4, Outlet pump.

In the near future I plan to get a 10 gallon for this pool comet or maybe a 29/30, so it can have a takmate or two. He/she's about 3 inches now. It's more entertaining to watch than the Betta-much more active and not a picky eater.

Near the end of the cycle I added 4 more White Clouds to make 8 total. 5 Red Eye Tetras were added. They nipped the tails of the White Clouds, so they were returned the next day. In return for the Red Eyes, I got 5 Skunk Corys. After about a... Well, the tank has been cycled for a couple of weeks now. Near the end of the cycle I added 4 more White Clouds to make 8 total. 5 Red Eye Tetras were added. They nipped the tails of the White Clouds, so they were returned the next day. In return for the Red Eyes, I got 5 Skunk Corys. After about a week, they started dying one each day-never found out why. Checked Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and they looked fine until death. 2 of them remain-hope they survive. Next week I may get 3 or 4 Albino Corys.

Here's the most densly planted tank I've ever had-lots of plastic plants and plastic "rock" cave.

The White Clouds go to this side when I'm in the room-probably because they're fed on this side.

The 2 Skunk Corys that remain can be seen here.

On the right side is the AC 50. On the left is the AC 20 power head with quick filter attachment. I put some Aqua Clear Biomax balls in it for more biological filtration. In the middle is a $10 Aqua Tech 5-15 that will be used to seed a 5.5 gal live plant/White Cloud project. The light is a Coralife I ordered from AquariumGuys.com. It's very small-1 inch tall and 3 inches wide. I like the size if it. It has a T5 Colormax bulb.

I don't have pictures of my 55 gallon that houses my JD pair, of the 37 gallon w/ yellow labs or the 5.5 betta tank.

125 oscar tank. Running a fluval 404 and a rena xp3. Has 2 regular 24 inch fluorescent fixtures mounted in the canopy, and has 2 72in VHO actinic bulbs mounted in the canopy as well. This tank houses 1 small oscar (lost the big one last week to unknown cause), a eupterus cat, 13 tiger barbs, 1 common pleco, 1 buenos aires tetra (he was kicked out of the planted tank about 2 years ago for eating plants, he just hangs with the barbs now).

125 african tank. Currently running a fluval 404, but will be changing to a rena xp 3 in the next day or so, with 260w PC lighting (overkill for non planted..lol). Houses assorted africans, has been set up ~2 months.

75 planted community tank. Running T5-4X54w with a fluval 404 filter. Stock is black skirt tetras, 2 rope fish, 3 upside down catfish, albino-schwartz-bronze cory cats, banjo cat, blue and gold gouramis, 4 siamese algae eaters, cherry barbs, 1-angelicus loach, 1- yoyo loach, silver tetra, a sword tail, 1 angel. I'm unsure how many fish are in this tank. I haven't added any new fish in ~ a year.

I decided to set up a new 2.5g tank for my Betta.

Right now the plan is to have this as a Planted Tank. I went out today and purchased the tank, pool filter sand as a substrate, and a sheet of Plexiglas to make a top over it.

I am planning on adding a Red Sea or Azoo nano HOB filter, and a Coralife Mini Freshwater Aqualight for lighting. Will have to order both of those online though as there is no store in my area that carries them. I will probably end up ordering them later tonight.

As far as plants for the tank I currently have one crypt wendtii bronze that will be going in there. I wanted to add some java fern, as well as a few different types of mosses and maybe some micro chain sword for ground cover.

Thought it would be cool to keep a log of the tank on here since this will be my first planted tank of this size.
