AVATAR?? - Aquarium Advice

How do you get an avatar. I have been trying for quite some time now.

The list is available on the profile setup page. You click the view avatar button and it shows what is available. I don't know how to make up your own.

If you want to use one of your choosing from off the site (either from an online source or your own files on your computer) you simply go to the "Home"page (option at the top amongst the other links) To the right side of the page you will see a box that says "Welcome xxxxxxx" (your screenname) ........click "Update Profile" in that box. On the page that comes up go to the bottom and you'll see "Avatar Control Panel". To upload an image from your own files use the "Upload"/"Browse" button...it's fairly straighforward. To use an image from an online source simply copy & paste the URL for that image into the box that says "enter URL" (you can get the address by right clikcking on the image and choosing "Properties" in the box that pops up....in the property box that comes up the URL is listed -- just copy & paste). The only trick is making sure the image you are wanting to use fits w/in the size restrictions set out for avatars on this site......

I would like to add that we have a very large collection of avatars already on the site in the avatar gallery that is available in the profile area.
