Delay in chat

as the title says today there was a huge delay in the chat of about 20-25 seconds for everyone

any help would be apprecieated

along with the fact that it took at least a minute to even connect to the chat server when i logged in...

Same issues. Chat didn't connect the first time, and showed me an empty room. Reloaded it, took over a minute to connect and experiencing lag.

10 sec delay on typing in chat.

Its a little better now, stil some delay tho. maybe 5 seconds now.
