Feline Advice Users - Aquarium Advice

I just tried to register for the Feline Advice message board was told the following:

Your IP address is on a DNS-based Blackhole List.

Registration attempt blocked.

with a link to this page http://www.spews.org/ask.cgi?x=69.251.173.217

I've been a member of this board for quite awhile and have never had a problem. I was hoping that I could get some info as to why I couldn't register with them. Any help and or info would be great!

Not yet, was going to try it again tomorrow at work.

I checked it out and found a great deal on a cat tree and wanted to thank the people there for the heads up, and to put my two cents in on other matters. I haven't given up yet.

That site was getting a massive amount of inapproprate materal placed in member profiles by discusting people who just join so they can link to their unfamily friendly websites. What you ran into is something that we put into place to curb all of that. It basicly references known spammer IP's and denys someone using that IP from registering.
