link to last post in recent topics? - Aquarium Advice

I've seen this at other sites from time to time and thought it would be neat to incorporate if it werent terribly difficult a task. Any input?

For example, my car club forum has a similar front page in that we have a section called "recent topics". It shows the last ten topics that were posted to, right on the front page, just like here at AA. In addition, there is a small link next to each topic that will take you immediately to the last post in that topic. This is a nice feature if you've already read the previous posts, plus you dont have to open the topic, click on the last page number, then scroll to the bottom of the page to see the last reply. Can I get any lazier?

I am confused as to what is new. We are talking about something different than clicking the orange square next to a thread to go to the newest post in that thred, right?

This person visits the home page and is clicking the Recent Topics list.
