Photo upload question

All of my pics are bigger than my allotted 250k per attachment Do you gain more space as your posts grow or do I need to figure out another way to shrink my file size?

You simply need to resize the pictures so that you can get under the maximum file size. ReefRunner posted a simple tutorial that shows how to do this.

250Kb is kind of the limit for the poor ol modem folks. No one on a modem wants to have to wait 1+ minutes for each image to appear. Kind of takes the pleasure out of looking at photos.

Disk space is not an issue. But a decent web experence by all involved is the main goal.

Simply resizing an image from its raw 1601200 to 1024X768 or 80600 will do wonders for filesize. Crop out the portion of the photo that has the subject mater you want and resize and most of the time your images will be very close to 100-150kb
