How can I get "special permission" to post in the classifieds?

FWIW special permission is only granted to members that have been members for a long time and have shown through posting history that their intent in joining this site was not simply to sell something. The criteria for posting in the classifieds is only 50 posts, give some advice, ask for some, before you know it you will have 50 posts

That's strange... no offense or anything. But yeh, it didn't take me very long to get 400 on another fish forum. August until now.

The reason why we require a certain post count is so it keeps people from joining with the sole purpose of selling items. Not strange at all. You only need 50 posts.
