Report posts - When and how to

We have enhanced the report post feature to hopefully reduce the number of false reports. From this point forward when you click the report button you will be presented with a comments box. Place in this box comments as to why you feel the post your reporting needs to be reported.

As a general guide posts should be reported if you feel the post requires immediate admin or advisor attention. When a topic is reported we as admins and advisors will receive an email alerting us to the report. When we get the email we will see what you wrote in the comments box. We can then take action if no advisor or admin is on the site. Posts that are asking for help should not be reported. Only messages that you feel violate the rules and regulations of this website should be reported.

Please use the report post feature instead of taking maters into your own hands and posting a reply. People replying about the item that is in violation only fuels the poster and often ends up in a heated argument where advisors and admins have the power to resolve the issue more effectively.
