How in the world do you get the url to show up as a word like 'here' and show up as an off color or highlighted

Thank you all for the help, I feel so stupid but computer language has never been my thing. Too much technical and not enough hands on. I think I have got it now, and i have learned that if I am going to use it, the preview screen is a lot of help.
