What is the deal with the date of birth drop-downs? - Aquarium Advice

I first noticed this when I joined AA. As soon as I picked a day and month in the date of birth section, I could no longer see in the boxes what day I picked. When I checked my profile later to make sure it was right, it had me as 28 Feb 1971. Wrong. I changed it. It said 29 Feb 1972. Wrong again. Only once have I seen it correct (1 March 1972), and now it is back to being wrong. I tried changing it again and it's still wrong. What is the deal?

On the other hand, though, I guess it shouldn't matter (but it BUGS me). Either way I'm still in my mid-30s, right?

It is a known issue with automatic time.

Quote:

Go to your profile and change it from automatic to be manual and set the time zone your in and set to observe DST if your time zone observes DST.

See if that helps.
