Why are there two private message notify options?

You might be wondering why there are two options on how to be notified of private messages. Well its fairly simple. There are so many popup blockers out there now that having a popup box notify you of a private message may not be the most desired method. Users with popup blockers enabled may forget to permit popup's on AA and thus never see the notices of new message. We now offer a second way of getting notified that popup blockers ignore.

The first option in the list:

Show Box on New Private Message:
Display box when new private message arrives. Does not cause a popup.

This will cause a box to appear on your seen that looks like a popup but its not. Its actually a box thats embedded within the webpage. You can click to view your new PM or you can click to close the embedded box. This again will NOT cause a popup to occur.

The second option on the list:

Pop up window on new Private Message:
Some templates may open a new window to inform you when new private

This WILL cause a popup box to appear notifying you of a new private message. If you have popup blocking enabled you will not see this box until you permit popups from Aquarium Advice.

You can in theory pick both of these options but that will be a bit repetitive. I suggest one or the other or neither if you don't care to know when you have a private message sent to you.
