Here's what I would do, but just a suggestion
• 1 Arowana
• 2 tiger oscars
• 1 clown knife
• school of clown loaches

The clown knife is still to big for a 300 gallon IMO. This is a 3.5 foot fish. But besides that look into ornate bichirs if you want they are gorgeous!
