Hello, I have only had one freshwater tank so I don't know to much about size and fish compatibilitys. I just bought a 40gal. with filter and heater out of the paper for $40 and I have all saltwater tanks. I wanted to know if I could put two oscars in this tank a tiger and albino. Any suggestions are welcome. :BIG:

That was a good deal for a 40 gal setup.
I agree with William about needing 75 gal for an oscar.
Have you considered some of the smaller (less than 6 inches) cichlids? In addition to a dwarf pleco, you could get four FW angelfish or a bunch of rams or a pair of firemouth cichlids in a 40 gal.

Consider some of the smaller south american cichlids. They can be just as entertaining as oscars.
Ex. Firemouths, Rainbow Cichlids, or Salvani Cichlids.

No, You need atleast 75 for atleast one oscar.

You need more than that, for an adult oscar you'd need at least 100 gallons and a VERY efficient filtration system.
