5 x 4 x 2 stocking ideas

Hi all, as the title suggests i'm trying to decide on what stock I should put in this tank. I am currently thinking along the lines of some smaller na/ca cichlids and of course the amount will depend on if I end up putting a pair or two in. The size I would like would be around the 6" mark as opposed to the larger species I usually keep (even though it has a decent volume its still only five foot long) so if anyone would like to make some suggestions i'd be grateful

5ft long by 4ft wide by 2ft high? If so that is a huge foot print.

yeah, I had had a lot of larger set ups but moved house a little while ago and decided to just have the one tank in the house as the girlfriend lives here too in the previous tanks I never thought 2ft or 30" was enough so for this one I originally wanted 5 x 5 x 2 but my room didn't allow it
