75 Gallon Malawi Tank

well i picked up a couple of used 75 gallons w/ stand and other equipments fr pretty cheap IMO.

so i decided to upgrade my 45 gallon!

the bottom tank (it is a double decker stand) is my new Malawi tank.

and before someone complains...yes the back is PAINTED blue already, and YES i was to lazy to do anything, plus i think i makes the tank "brighter"! :P

3 Cynotilapia afra (Lion's Cove)
3 Yellow Lab: Labidochromis caeruleus (Lion's Cove II)
3 Blue Metriaclima estherae??
3 Snow White Socolofi: Pseudotropheus socolofi "Albino"
1 Female Red Empress Cichlids: Protomelas taeniolatus (i lost my male that was coloring up really nice in the move, unknown cause)
1 Featherfin Syno: Synodontis eupterus

my Cynotilapia afra are still young, but very cute!


Both my male labs have vertical bars, and are not bright yellow


The top dog in this tank is the Featherfin Syno, NO ONE messes with this guy!

yes i do have some Malaysian Trumpet snails, but i am not sure if they would do well in the malawi tank

i was telling my wife that i should open a part-time bussiness to maintain aquariums for other people/bussiness so that i can feed my addiciton.

(10 tanks is all she will let me have....today )

i have one one used 75 gallon to set up yet though... keep a look out for my new discus tank LOL
