I have a 7" oscallaris as well,""Dave" has great personallity, and i can pet him,he's awsome;) if you have the tank size, they are a great fish to keep

Nice fish. I looked at them awhile back, bit most books were recommending the 265 gallon (7 ft) tank. I'd be interested to hear how you make out with them?

What else will you be keeping with them in the 180?

A 12" male jag and wont know untill i get that far,a 180 should be fine,iv read most aquarium kept bass rarely go past 15"

Those guys are totally cute! I love how they are all eyeballs and tail. Lol. I can't wait to see them when they are huge! You should put up before and after pictures when they grow up. :)

They will be fine in that tank. I had a friend who had 6 without any sort of issue in a 125 for many many years.

Nice Fish I am so thinking of getting a couple, same thing though I have a tank with a few other things in it at the moment.

Well one just poped up online in my area for 40.00, Not sure full details on him yet, what should I look into with getting him, I am thinking what does he eat now, how long had him, who he is living with now, anything else I should look into from the original owner?
