Adding fish

Hi everyone. As of now I have a 55 gallon community/cichlid tank. It has several africans and two south Americans. I also have four angel fish in there with a large kissing gourami and three cory cats I am going to move the angels and corys to a 29. I am also going to move all plants/decorations with them and completely redo the cichlids tank. How many more cichlids can I add if I have ten now? Cichlids are Electric yellows(2) Peacocks(2) Red zebra, blue zebra, blue gene, green terror, two fish I cant name, one is black with blue horizontal stripes and one is green with a yellow striped pattern. Sizes range from 2"-5"

The fish you can't name are a blue johanni and a venustus and I would add anything in there with the green terror in the tank, the name says it all.

My venustus and blue zebra are the more aggressive at the time my green terror is shy and likes to keep to his little area. Also I am looking for good stackable rocks for the cichlids tank. Any places I could find some for cheap.

I got all this for around $15 it was $0.12/lb at a landscaping place, the yard man was an aquarium enthusiast as well and hooked me up with 180lbs for 100lb charge

Thanks. I was thinking of going to menards or something like that. Can I just put the rocks in, or do I need to treat them.

no treatment, just a liberal scrubbing with a tire brush or something with firm brissles, no soap and make sure the brush doesnt have any, i usually soak mine in a 5g bucket of freshwater and pull em out one by one, scrub them, and set them aside to dry.

Your venustus and green terror are going to get too large for a 55 gallon, in my opinion, unless maybe they had it to themselves.. I have 14 haps and peacocks in a 75, but am going to upgrade to 6 ft. tank soon.
