adopting an angelfish?

I know a couple who are tired of their 30 gallon tank and they want me to have their angelfish. They have one, 4" angelfish. Will the angelfish get along okay with the clown, yo yo, zebra, and angelicus loaches I have in my 29 gallon tank? Is my tank too small. I'm planning on getting a 75 gallon soon.

How many and how big are the loaches? The clowns can get big but it takes a while If you go by the inch per gallon and the angel will fit, go for it. Angels can be grumpy but bottom fish should be no problem.

adopting angel

Well, I've got 4 clown loaches, 3 yo yo loaches, 2 zebra loaches, and 2 angelicus loaches. All under 2 inches. My water cycles at least 330 [acronym:452030d114="Gallons per hour"]gph[/acronym:452030d114] using a [acronym:452030d114="Under Gravel Filter"]UGF[/acronym:452030d114], a Whisper 30, and an Aquaclear 200. I do a 30% [acronym:452030d114="Partial water change"]PWC[/acronym:452030d114] every week - ten days. I've got a dwarf gourami that I'm getting ready to move to a 10 gallon.

I'm getting a 75 gallon soon and I plan on making it my "loach tank".

Hurrmph...Angels are not grumpy they are just misunderstood...[acronym:b3a4091cdc="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:b3a4091cdc]. All kidding aside, you can do this with your current stock. A lone angel will not display any aggression towards them.

the angel will be perfect, i got an angel just about that size he/she is a koi angel,

angels require a tank that is at least 18" high, which is exactly what all normal 29 [acronym:763d66fc58="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:763d66fc58] tanks are so yes, he will be happy and shouldnt show aggression to the loches

and if you have too many loaches i will take 1-3 clown loaches off your hands
