Aggression - Aquarium Advice

Surfuing the web and looking up many types of fish and learning as much as I can. I noticed alot of sites say Jack Dempsey is a "highly aggressive" fish. But though fourms I've heard people say their jacks are semi aggressive or even push overs.

Do fishs aggression change over time /age. or prehaps its a parsonality thing? A fight of teritory / food??

I have 2 Jack's in my tank both fairly small and defiently not the largest in the tank and they are hardly aggressive to any of the fish in the tank.

Most Jacks (hence their name) are quite aggressive.....but there are occasional exceptions....and some of those one day just decide to become murderous.
