Don't know how fast, that depends on how good your water conditions stay, how healthy the fish is, etc.
To give you an example, I got an angel about 1 year ago that was about 2 inches across. Now, a year later, he is close to 5 inches. I had it in a 55
gal with plenty of room to swim, but that is how long it took mine to grow. Hope this gives you some idea, they grow pretty qucikly.
