Almost looks like a discolored Kribensis though I could be terribly wrong.

That's exactly what I was thinking! The lady at the pet store was confused by it. It was labeled as auratus but she didn't think it was. And I also have a kribensis in my tank as well which I thought they looked similar. Was just seeing what other people thought thanks!

Transitioning male auratus IMO. Could be an auratus hybrid but definitely some melanochromis in there

You should definitely think about rehoming the auratus, they like to kill tankmates and really should be kept species only.

Yeah I've noticed he has been a little bossy but haven't had to much hassle I will defiantly keep my eye on him should of read more about him. Thanks for the advice
