Apistogramma + discus tank size

I'm not fully sure how many discus I want in my tank but if... Say, I had 2 pairs in my 67 and around 6 small female bettas (don't get any bigger then an inch) how many apistos would I be able to stock?
Only wondering because they are really nice fish
Also would they be ok in a bare bottom? I'm going to have breeding cones and might put afew caves for the apistos

first of all,i liek to say why discus+betta i a same tank?

please remove betta from your tank.

i personally keep discus and apistogramma for many days.but they are on different tank. apistogramma is a harem fish and you can kep 1 male with 2-3 females.but never ever try to mix and match 2 different strain of apistogramma.they will fight witheach other. so i suggest you to keep only 1 strain of apistogramma in your tank.
