I like but how important is this "This species prefers a pH between 4.5 and 6.0"

I would THINK wild caught or tank breed/raised makes a difference.
I struggle with how close to natural conditions I need to make my water for tank raised apistos?

If they're tank raised, finding out the conditions in which the breeder kept them would be ideal. Than again ph 7 and softer water would probably be fine. Wc really needs to be close to targets.

I run at 8 to 8.2 Don't like messing with PH. Haven't tested in a while Guess ill do that tonight.
