Hi guys,
I was wondering if I could keep 2 baby Angels (half dollar Size) in a 6 Gal (Cycled) tank till they are ready for my show Tank.
The reason being the flow of my Fluval 404 is too much for them (Even when turned down)
Also all the other fish eat all the food and the angels to not get any.
I also tried target feeing them but they too slow for my Zebra D and tetras.
I was hoping to grow the a bit in the 6 gal
Let me know if this is advisable.
They are currently in the 72 gal show tank.

Thank
kamla

I think they would be a little too cramped in a 6 gallon. If you could get your hands on a ten gallon that would be a little better. Can you put a tank divider in your show tank just until the angels get bigger? This way you can give them the room they need, and it will help with the flow from your filter.

i dont have a 10 gal.. 6 gal tank is ready to go..
No luck on the divider too :(

so should i just keep them in the show tank and try to target feed them :(

At A loos here..
the wife will not let be buy anything connected to fish more a month..
not even a dollars worth... :?
PS. i went way over budget on the last purchase...

What I would do then is just keep the filter turned down, and feed your fish a little on one side of the tank and a little on the other side. You can even turn the filter off while you are feeding them, so the food doesn't get blown around so much. Just try to distract the faster fish as best as you can. Good luck to you!
