So i just got a baby flowerhorn. It's about 1.5." The plan is to eventually put him/her in a 55 gallon tank but I wont have it set up for about a month and a half. He's in a 2 gallon hex tank right now. Would he be better off spending the time in this tank or should I try my luck with him in my 20 long community tank in the meantime which houses tiger barbs, red eye tetras, corydoras, and an opaline gourami. Mainly concerned about stunting his growth by leaving him in the 2. Absolute worst case I can invest in a 10 gallon setup in the meantime but I am trying to avoid spending the money on it. Thanks!
