Best Food to for NW Cichlids

I have a Jack Dempsey and a Red Parrot. I am looking what is the best food to get for them. I have been using medium pellets as the Red Parrot has hard time eating the large pellets. I was looking to switch to flakes. What would be the best option to move to?

New Life Spectrum Thera A would be a good place to start. I imagine that the 1 mm sinking pellets would work. If your LFS doesn't carry it, Amazon does.

NLS all the way, Petco also carries a limited selection of you're in a pinch. I also order all mine from Amazon.

What is the difference between the There A and the Cichlid Formula?

Thera A has a mega dose of garlic in it.

This is the one I should get correct. My two cichlids are quite big, so medium I think is to small, but I am afraid to get large pellets as the Red Parrot can't open his mouth as good as the Jack Dempsey. But I think these large pellets are okay as it says they are 3mm which I think will be fine.

Yes, that looks correct. 3 mm should be fine for larger fish.
