I have a holding yellow lab in my 125 with lots of rockwork. I am wanting to take her out and put her in a 10 by herself so she can release the fry in peace. I tried catching her but with no luck last night. Any ideas on how to do so without stressing her out to much??

Turn off the tank lights and all lights in the room. Wait an hour or so then come in while they are sleeping. This needs to be done at night though. That's how we are the most succesful at removing holding females. She may be sleeping in rock structures so you may have to try this several times before getting her.

BTW, we usually end up with me holding a flashlight and us sneaking into the room in complete darkness. Him holding two nets while I try to find her quickly with the light.
