I'm thinking about using fluval bio max and carbon in my canister filter. Thoughts an opinions?

I don't have a problem with using carbon, its just changing it out and making sure the bb still do ok.

I'm using just carbon now I think maybe adding something different could be benificial

I just use a sponge and fill the rest with bio media. If carbon comes with my filters i save it for my hospital tank to remove meds
