JulidochromisTransBlackChin.jpg

I've got a tank of 4 mature Julidochromis Transcriptus. I have a pair that have produced a batch of fry. The other two always stay away and mostly toward the top 2/3 of the tank. I've noticed that these two have kept a "blackened chin". The bottom of the front of their bodies have taken on a black fade. Does anyone know if this is just a sub-dominant trait they take on or something else? I'm not sure what sex these other two "outcasts" are either.

I don't have an answer and im share some one will but may i ask what you took that picture with? What ever it was i need to get one.

Thanks Mikem691. I take my pics with a Canon Rebel EOS XS. Nothing too fancy. Just patience and several pics to get just that right one.
