Blood parrots

At some point I will have an empty 36g. I'm trying to decide between a second community tank, or these guys. Would this be suitable for a blood parrot? How large do they get? Can I house more than one together?

I've had cichlids in the past but it's been a long time and I probably wasn't doing it right to be honest.

I'm assuming these guys will be territorial and master rearranged so plants are probably a no-go.

I've seen adult blood parrots in person. They get pretty big.
I'd do a community tank instead.

I had 4 blood parrots in a 38 gallon tank and they got along fine. I recently upgraded to a 75 gallon tank and they seem very happy (even more once I figure out heater issues).
I probably would only get 2 parrots for a 38 gallon. They are great fish with lots of personality.
