Blood red parrot mouth

I have a juvinile blood red parrot and he cant move his mouth (yes i already knew that), so its hard for him to eat the catnivore sinking pellets. How can i make it easier and i already thought about cutting them up but ar there any good replacemnts

Try steeping it in water to soften it up else try some frozen food.

Edit - can he not move his mouth at all, or is it just the "normal" bp were they can't close it properly
