Bolivian ram pair

So ive had a male bolivian ram in my 55 for about 6 months now and on Tuesday i got him a female. Unfortunately, he now chases her around the tank whenever he sees her and they dont act like they will pair. Does anybody know if they will eventually become a pair or will this continue indefinitely?
