Came across the birchardi or fairy cichlid, they look really cool and I can get a juvenile for dirt chap :).

However, someone said I couldn't keep them in a mixed African tank so I wanted to get your thoughts/opinions. I have a 90 gallon with yellow labs, johanni, yellow tail acei and the like.

Thoughts?

I think they would b fine as long as u have plenty of hiding places for them they don't get as big as ur other cichlids u mentioned and I would try to keep 1 male an a cpl of females they are beautiful fish I am hoping the pair I have now breed successfully! Good luck and enjoy

My concern is if I get multiple and they do breed that they would terrorize/kill all other tank mates? Would I be better off just getting 1 of them?

In a 90g tank I wouldn't think so I believe u have plenty of room and like I said they stay pretty small so I would try it but stay vigilant lol
