Bristlenose with mbuna?

I had a Columnaris outbreak last month that is over. So I have been trying to keep a few bristle noses to help with the brown algae. The tank houses over 250lbs of holey rock so there's plenty of hiding spots but the mbuna's keep killing the plecs. I don't have any agression issues with the exception of the poor britsle noses. Has anyone had any success with this?

I have bristlenoses and have had no trouble, but they are fully grown. No issues exept with very small ones in with big fish.

Adding fish to an existing tank may cause a disrupton to territories. This might lead to fish defending their patch.
