Can i get a firemouth?

Alright soo I was at petsmart and I never really looked into firemouths before, but I looked at the one there and now I want it really bad. I have a 30 gal long tank with 2 filters. The stock is 2 german blue rams 2 keyhole cichlids 5 glow light tetras 2 cories and a bn Pleco. I highly doubt I will be able to add one, but what fish would I need to rehome to be able to get a firemouth?

I have 2 firemouth.. They are fairly aggressive.. The pleco should be fine.. I would imagine tgat if the rest dont get eaten then they eould be picked on greatly. Here are my firemouths

Yes mine are both bout 4 inch here is the tank .. They are housed with
1 gold severum
2 black convicts
2 pink kissing fish(girlfriends lol)
1spiny eel
1 marble goby
2 frogs and 1 pleco

I'm jealous... Well I guess I'll have to wait till all my fish die off. Which I don't want to happen anytime soon so if I were to put them in my tank, would I be able to put anything else in there with them?

If u have good filtration in a 30 long i would have 1 or 2 firemouth and some black convicts...
I have wanted to do a black convict only tank.. These lil guys runn around everywhere together

I see. I have two big filters on my tank and it's been running for almost a year now

Thats good i always go for overkill on my filters .. I got 2 aqueon 30's and a fucal c series rated for 50 gallons on my 75

Jeez, your convicts are really pretty btw. How much aggression is there between the convicts and firemouths?

They flare there gills at each other every now and then.. Femal convict has the orange in it

They can be and most hold their own against bigger cichlids.
