Exclamation Can I remove Convict Cichlid Fry while they are wigglers?

I have a pair of convict cichlids in a tank with an oscar and a bichir, im worried that the convict fry will be snacks for the 2 once they are free-swimming and they are in a clay pot and i can see them wiggling, is it fine to remove them before they are free swimming?
