Cichlid et Betta

Hello
I have to get information for a friend of mine that would like to have 2 lemon yellow in her tank that already have a betta and some tetra in it.
Apparently the betta and the tetras are getting well together since a long time.

Is it possible to put the 2 lemon yellow in it?

thank you

sorry for the french...

Do you mean yellow labrochromis? They are not betta safe.

Not only would the betta be at risk, but so would the tetras. Plus, those fish have different water needs. The lemon yellows are Mbuna cichlids that like harder water with a pH of 8. This is not a good mix of fish in terms of temperament or water quality.

I think he's reffering to the lemon cichlid of Lake Tang, but they shouldn't be in a community tank either.
