I've had my 55 gallon planted tank set up and cycled loaded with plants for some time now. This tank is also dirted. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for a larger cichlid for this tank. I would like to have other smaller fish in this tank and would like the cichlid to be 6 inches plus. I just want a peaceful cichlid that has nice color and won't disrupt the gravel capped dirt substrate. Discus aren't really an option as I don't want that much responsibility. Also another side note, I am not really interested in dwarf cichlids like my German blue ram in my planted 15G tank. Thanks for any input!

Most larger cichlids will disturb your gravel cap.
