Cichlid mineral salt?

If I buy the cichlid mineral salt from API, would that really help my cichlids. They are healthy now, but will it make them breed? Also is it safe for catfish in the tank also? Thanks.

Personally I wouldn't waste my $$. I've kept Malawi and Tanganykian cichlids for years, used baking soda for the Tang's and coral for the Malawi's to buffer the water. Clean water and good diet, they'll breed when they're ready.
