Cichlid rearrange

I want to clean my tank up (do a good vac 50% atleast) clean the rocks real good and use lime stone to make a new arrangement should I move my fish to a different tank while i do it? I have 9 cichlids and and a pleco. Id be thankful for any input. Thanks

U should be good I leave mine in wen I rearrange decor and WC.

No you can leave them in the tank. I rescape mine all the time with no ill effects.

Oh so you want to clean the substrate? And I don't know what that is, never seen it before.

Looks like a food stash is that normal? Yea just wanted to rearrange and clean up but not to much so I mess up the balance of the water
