Cichlid tank?
I have an empty 70l tank and was wondering if it would be possible to set it up with a few dwarf cichlids. If so what would be the best fish to keep and how many? also what about decor? my community tank is heavily planted and I fancied a completely different look to this one. e.g lots of rocks with very few plants. Your help is appreciated.

There are so many differant types of cichlids it might be easier to ask about a type of cichlid. If you stick to a planted tank you have Rams, Apistogramma, Kribensis for instance. If you want more rocks and less plants then you have Malawi cichlids and Tanganyikan cichlids which are Lake cichlids. there are also African river fish as well. There are just so many, but what ever you ask about i bet someone on this forum has kept them at some time or another. Take a look at www.malawicichlids.com [acronym:efc43a2973="Hope this helps (or) Happy to help"]HTH[/acronym:efc43a2973]
