I have got 2 cichlids what are pregnant and I have put them in a breeding cage. I did this 7 days ago when should I try strip them.

You don't need to strip them if you don't want to. If they are in a breeding net you can wait for them to spit them out. Followed by removing the females. If you want to strip them then you will want to wait till you can see that they are free swimming. You'll have to check her mouth every so often to know.
