Would I be crazy to add a crayfish to an established, mostly American, Cichlid tank?

The tank is 80gal and it's current residents are...

X2 Jack Dempseys
X1 Flowerhorn
X1 Convict
X2 Clown Loaches
X1 Sailfin Pleco

They all are aprox half grown.

Thanks in advance.

Years back when I knew what I was doing. I had a pair of convicts, a red devil and yes an out of place Tilapia Buttekofrei. Needles to say the cray fish was prey for all of them. The convicts would tear the crayfish apart when it crossed into there territory. The red devil would play with them, but the Tilapia would relish it as it crushed it's exoskeleton. It would get messy when I fed them the crayfish. Good luck.

Thanks Tony. I thought that might be the case. I think I'll give it a miss :)

Unless you want to see the mayhem. Seriously though the crayfish does fight back and may injure your fish. Especially when they sleep.
