Hey! Just a simple and quick question. Is it alright for me to mix two different batches of fry? My black convict fry and my yellow lab fry. The tank I have the convicts in are being eaten by their mom. So I planned on putting the baby's in another tank I have that has just yellow lab baby's in it. Would this be ok? Or what?

Those two species have different water requirements so I wouldn't mix them

Cause I have four different tanks and all of the water in them is the same. And The fish have been fine

Im actually wondering how youve managed to breed both the labs and the convicts as yellows breed in high ph hard water and the opposite is true for convicts, i.e, soft acidic water.

Well for the most part I added stuff to the water to change the ph and stuff for my breeder tanks. But besides that the water is really similar.
