It seems my convicts have gotten extremely territorial lately now that they are spawning.

They killed my pleco in the tank and i have attached a pic of a bite out of a JD. Now i am assuming that is them doing the damage.

Question is. Should i take them out or would a DIY divider work in a 180?
If i use the divider will it tone down aggression even though the fish will still see each other?

This white mark on the lip is the bite.

I think that's pretty much normally expected behavior. The other fish will pay a price if they don'y quickly learn to stay away from the Convicts doing their thing.

Remove one of the convicts is going to be your best bet IMO
