damaged fins

This may sound like a dumb question but do fish with really damaged fins recover with new fins?

I have seen fish with their whole tail gone completely recover so yes they can.

i use declorinater with alovera in it to help with healing

Fish are remarkable in healing. Just keep up the water changes. Clean water is about as good as any medications.

Thanks for the info I have a pretty beat up bumblebee kinda surprising but he is one of the smallest in the tank
