You'll probably have to wait for them to mature to discover what they really are.

Here's a photo of a 1 day old vertical demasoni fry:

The fry tank? 30L
If they were demasoni i would have put them in my 65g later on but i think i'm gona sell most of them when i know what they are.

I do know one thing, they are mean! i had to move them in the 30L early because they were nipping each other in the breeder box.

I WANT BABY DEMASONI's! :(
kinda hard to find (honest)breeders here

I finally made up my mind and was planning to buy 4 demasoni's in a not so local fish shop. Al the fish where looking fine except for the demasoni's tank yeah talk about bad luck!

A few where just kinda lifeless on the bottom, then there were also 2 with a deformed mouth, 1 dead fish being eaten and 1 dead fish floating at the top and poop all over the place. There were a few that looked healthy but i ran out of there as fast as possible lol.

Then i went to a shop that i dont realy like but i wanted them so bad so i bought 4!

Got home acclimatized the evil sweathearts and put them in. The only fish that cared was the afra red top but he only chases them nothing bad. The yellows where just curious and the marmelade cat was like you leave me alone i leave you guys alone.

After 2 hours they were already thriving with the others in the open
There still small +-3cm

The only problem i have is with the fish store there is a fish with a kinda small tail looks like its been bit of and now growing back.
Normaly i buy fish from hobby breeders for less then half the money.
So from a fish shop i expect them to be perfect...

The other 6 that i want arent gona be from a lfs

Update on the unknown fry.

I'm thinking elongatus chewere or mpanga only because the guy had those in his tanks
Or maybe kenyi(lombardoi)?

Anyone recognize them?
