Got any dwarf cichlids worthy of sharing? Pretty sure there's lots of people wanting to see them beauties! Please include dietary requirements, age, tank size, tank mates and if they have had any spawns, please also mention tank parameters. I will take my turn when my lovely apisto's arrive :)

Alright here we go. I have rams, blue, long fin gold, and electric blue. All feed nls 1mm Cichlid pellets and cobalt flakes and the occasional bloodworms. Tank mates include red blue tetras, otos, and two leaf fish who are just growing in the tank and will be moved soon.

Then I keep my breeding trio of apistogramma cacatouides in a 10 with neons and (one juvenile krib from my krib spawn when i had them) to encourage good parenting. They get feed the same things as the rams

Ph 7.4-7.6

No3 15 trying to get it down to 10,
Po4 1.0 trying to slowly bring it up to 2.0

I dose pps pro and glut and diy co2.

Oh..my...god! Those fish are absolutely amazing! What stunning colours! That apistogramma has really eye-catching colours. Do you think I should start adding the almond leaf extract whilst the tank is on a mini/re-cycle

Thank you, he's got a really good flame pattern in his tail. I don't think it would hurt in the wild many apistos are found where the leaf litter on the bottom measures of a meter deep. I don't add anything but some ferts for my java moss. (I want a lot of it so its growing fast) plus it gives the tank a good algae look on the rocks and stuff.

Thanks all are local and breed and raised in the concrete hardness of our local water so they do quite well in my tank and spawn once a month.

I have my GBRs ( love them but nothing special) my special ones are my Bolivian rams, one actually seems to be a long fin. I know they don't breed them but I have one.

Discus are so beautiful I'd like to keep them one day as well. Back on topic here is the parents of the krib I have. I had to sell them because of
Aggression conflicts with my rams once everyone started to spawn.

My two female kribs and 2 female GBRs in a 36 gallon with 2 gold gouramis.

Thanks! I actually wanted a pair but they were too young to sex when I got them.

How do the female krona do in 36? I have a 36 w a pair of gbr and tetras and Cory's and a single female apisto (i think female) really small currently. You think adding a female Krib is too much? I'm leaning toward waiting to see what the apisto is and adding one or two of them

A single female could work. I dont think she would bully because she would be added last. They are much less aggressive than males also. I would try it. It would be a lot of color in the tank. Would look nice.

Thanks. I don't know what KRONA are! Stupid auto correct!
