Dwarf Community?

I know its a ways off yet, but when I get my 55 for x-mas, I'd like to do a Dwarf Cichlid Community in it. Is this a possibility, or are they not good with other dwarves? I was thinking(whoa, thats somthing) Blue Rams, Firemouths and other stuff.

rams would be fine but Firemouths can be trouble, but it depends on your own fish. From what ive read they are sometimes aggressive and sometimes peaceful. I dont own any, so let the experts tell you more. Good Luck!

In a 55, you could get rams, apistos and kribs. Give them lots of caves/rocks and plants. I'm not sure about the firemouth.

Go to American Cichlids.com There is a great selecton of non-aggresiive cichlids that would do great in a 55 gal with rock/caves.

I'd like one, larger, fish as a "centerpiece". An opaline Gourami perhaps?
